Are Raspberries Good for Dogs?
Yes! Raspberries are rich in powerful antioxidants which are particularly good for aging dogs, and reduce the risk of cancer, arthritis and diabetes. Raspberries also contain important vitamins and minerals such as copper, folic acid, potassium, iron, vitamin C, and manganese.
Because of the naturally occurring sugars such as xylitol in raspberries, it is important to include then only in moderate amounts so that you get all the benefits of this superfood, but don't run the risk of upsetting your pups digestive system.
As always if you have any concerns or questions about your dogs diet consult your local veterinarian.
