Can My Dog Eat Chocolate?
Chocolate is a no-no for dogs. While it is rarely fatal when consumed, it can leave your pup feeling very unwell. Chocolate contains a naturally occurring chemical called theobromine which is fine for humans but is difficult to metabolise for dogs.
What Should I Do If My Dog Accidentally Ate Chocolate?
The best thing you can do if figure out how much and what type of chocolate your dog ate. If you suspect that your dog may have chocolate poisoning you should bring your dog along to your local veterinarian for assessment.
Is Carob Better for Dogs?
Carob is super nutritious and safe alternative to chocolate and can be found in my dog treats. Carob doesn't contain theobromine but has a similar look and taste to your favourite chocolate treats!
